Frequently Asked Questions

What does a QVM Certified Limousine mean?

    - Ford Motor Company's certification program is called, "QVM" which stands for Qualified Vehicle Modifier. The rules governing the QVM program are stringent and are designed with the vehicle capabilities in mind. QVM rules state that only Lincoln Town Cars, Ford Expeditions and Lincoln Navigators are approved for conversion into a stretch limousine. In addition, QVM rules specify that a Town Car can only be stretched 120" and Expeditions and Navigators 140" (basically, about twice the size) .

Why is QVM certification so important?

    - If you are planning on renting a limousine, the National Limousine Association (NLA), the QVM-CMC Vehicle Manufacturers Association and Ford Motor Company strongly recommend that you only ride in limousines that are built by manufacturer certified Coachbuilders. All QVM Certified Veichles are tested for safety and compliance with stardard rules. If you are in a non-QVM certified limousine, they have not been tested for safety and compliance. Any car can be stretched into a limousine, but that does not ensure its safety.

Which of your limousines are QVM Certified?

    - Every limousine used by Executive Limousine is QVM certified. We want our customers to have the safest luxury ride and therefore only purchase QVM certified limousines.

Why are you part of the National Limousine Association (NLA)?

    - The NLA is a national association that requires all participants to provide proof of their Certificate of Liability Insurance.

What kind of uniform do your chauffeurs wear?

    - All chauffeurs wear black suits and silver ties.

How do I make a reservation?

    - When taking a reservation we require a $100 deposit by credit card. We also need all information for your special event including: date, time, number of passengers, pick-up location, phone number, and email address.

What happens if we do not use all of our scheduled time?

    - If your evening comes to an early end, you are required to pay for our minimums even if they are not used. The Monday through Thursday minimum is 2 hours. Friday and Saturday there is a 3 hour minimum.Minimums are subject to change. If you book 4 hours and only use 3 on a Saturday, you will only be charged for the 3 hours of service. If however, you only use 2 hours, you will be charged the minimum of 3 hours of service.

Can I bring my own alcohol or drinks?

     - Alcohol may be brought into the limousine if ALL passengers are of legal drinking age. If we find alcohol in the limousine with minors, it will be confiscated and your evening may be terminated early. All non-alcoholic drinks are permitted in the limousine.

Do you supply alcohol in the limousine?

     - We do not carry a liquor license, therefore we cannot supply alcohol.

Are there glasses and napkins supplied?

     - There is glassware and napkins in all limousines at no extra charge.

What if I go over my scheduled time by 15 minutes?

     - We charge on the quarter hour. So you will be charged accordingly.

What is your car seat policy?

     - We strongly encourage the use of car seats for young children. You are welcome to bring your own car seats. We do ask that the passengers secure them into the limousine for liability reasons. If you are in need of a car seat for your trip there is a $5 charge.
